Ardnamurchan Distillery on Scotland's west coast crafts outstanding single malt Scotch whisky, blending traditional methods with sustainability. Operated by Adelphi Distillery Ltd., it uses local resources, a hydroelectric generator, and biomass boilers. The whisky matures in coastal air, gaining a unique character. Each bottle features a blockchain-enabled QR code for transparent traceability from barley to bottle, connecting consumers to the land.

This is Ardnamurchan's "peatier" (CYWL coined term...) made up 50 casks consisting of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry cask with 90% peated spirit and 10% unpeated.

Nose: Orchard fruits, smoked cheese, chippy at the seaside, oyster shells, eucalyptus.

Palate: Features a gentle peat smoke, sweet vanilla, and some citrus.

Finish: Long and lingering, with notes of wood spice, tobacco, and sea salt.
