This is a straight rye whisky from the Bower Hill range, named for the site of the Battle of Bower Hill, the first major battle that broke out during the Whisky Rebellion in 1794.

Nose: Brown sugar and dried orange peel, toasted rye warmth.

Palate: Fresh apricot, mint, spices (a bit like spiced rum), and new oak are all present.

Finish: Add even more mint and then some cinnamon sticks.
