Established in 2017 in Manchester, England, Chorlton Whisky gained rapid acclaim for its budget-friendly offerings and exceptional cask choices. Founder David personally curates label art from ancient medieval and Renaissance masterpieces, contributing to the brand's distinctive aesthetic.

This Islay blended malt has been crafted with 2/3rds 5-year-old single malt sourced from a renowned distillery on the south coast of Islay, combined with 1/3rd 15-year-old single malt from the east coast.

Nose: "The nose has charred Tunnocks wafer, smoked olive oil, honey, tar and citrus oil"

Palate: "Big oily peat arrival, with salt and burnt lemon peel, developing on liquorice root, dark soy sauce, cigars and smoked chocolate cake. A drop of water brings out a cleaner and fruitier side, with eucalyptus, pear, melon and sweet citrussy smoke."

Finish: "Long and fruity, even with a touch of mint towards the end."
