Established in 2017 in Manchester, England, Chorlton Whisky gained rapid acclaim for its budget-friendly offerings and exceptional cask choices. Founder David personally curates label art from ancient medieval and Renaissance masterpieces, contributing to the brand's distinctive aesthetic.

This specific bottling is from the Glen Ord distillery. A highly regarded distillery, prized for its single malt and favoured by blenders. With in-house maltings supplying Diageo's northern distilleries, Talisker, and intermittently providing heavily-peated malt for Islay sites. Originally bottled as Glen Ord in the 1980s, it has undergone various names like Glenordie, Ordie, Ord, and Muir of Ord. Presently, it belongs to the Singleton range.

Nose: Tropical nose. Bounty chocolate, seashells and honeyed fig cake.

Palate: Palate is surprisingly different from nose in pleasant way. Earthy, oaky funk with a slight peat. chocolate and jammy fruits.

Finish: Long finish, very warming and sweet. Has an old world feel to it.
