We love Daftmill. Absolutely love 'em. It's a wonder we still have this and Paul hasn't just hidden it away for his own collection.
Daftmill are a true, family owned farm to bottle distillery and this limited release is made from Optic barley harvested in their south fields. Of the twenty casks used, nineteen are first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, with one ex-PX sherry cask adding a subtle twist, resulting in tropical notes on the nose, a palate of barley sugar and malt, and a rich, dark fruit finish with a gentle sherry touch. 
Distilled in June, July and August 2009. The casks were matured in the lower level of warehouse 2 before being bottled in December 2024 at the traditional Fife strength at 56.3%
