Isle of Rassay Distillery is the first legal distillery on the Isle of Rassay, who opened their doors in 2017. They really capture the inspirational and rugged Raasay landscape in their whisky and their bottle design.

This specific bottling is an honorary bottling for their success at the Scottish Whisky Awards last year when they were crowned Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year. The liquid has been finished off in ex-four square bourbon cask then followed up by a second maturation in Quercus humboldtii oak (oooh latin words) or commonly know as Colombian oak. 

Nose: Lemon sherbet. little bit vegetal and oaky flavours like tabbaco

Palate: Vanilla and interesting round oak flavour also some Burnt sugars

Finish: Quite a bright finish. short to medium in length
