Mars Shinshu Distillery, located in Nagano, Japan, was revived in 2011, known for its high-altitude setting in the Japanese Alps, influencing the slow maturation of whiskies. The distillery produces a range of whiskies, including the notable "Mars Komagatake" series, showcasing craftsmanship and local ingredients. Mars whiskies have gained international acclaim for their quality, but their limited production and increasing popularity make them challenging to find.

Nose: Nice and fruity with lychee, honey, icing sugar, papaya, pineapple, green apple, pear, and a few spices.

Palate: Citrus, raisins, oak, ginger, vanilla, malt sugar, and biscuits.

Finish: Medium to long finish boasting oak wood, warm fruit, honey, and pepper
