Lindores Abbey, based up in Fife, was re-opened 2018. It is located on the grounds where one of the oldest written records of whisky distillation took place way back in 1494 by order of King James IV. 

The Lindores MCDXCIV is a single malt whisky from Lindores Abbey Distillery. It has been matured in a combination of bourbon barrels, sherry butts and STR red wine barriques, creating a distinctively sweet and fruity character.

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, crunchy apples, pear drops and toffee.

Palate: Smooth and creamy, with notes of vanilla, dried fruits, citrus touches and a hint of spicy notes.

Finish: Medium-length, with lingering flavours of apple, pear, oak and spice.
