Lindores Abbey, based up in Fife, was re-opened 2018. It is located on the grounds where one of the oldest written records of whisky distillation took place way back in 1494 by order of King James IV. 

The Lindores Bourbon Cask is a limited-edition single malt whisky from Lindores Abbey Distillery. It has been matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for more than three years, creating a distinctively spicy, vanilla-forward character.

Nose: Aromas of vanilla, vibrant fruit, peppery oak, buttery toast and citrus. 

Palate: Fruity and spicy, with notes of green cooking apples, vanilla and spicy pepper.

Finish: Medium-length, with lingering flavours of apple, pear, oak and peppery spice.
