The Nc'Nean distillery, founded in 2013, is tucked away in the Scottish Highlands and pride themselves on having a focus on being an environmentally conscious distillery. All of them are committed to using organic and sustainable methods to create whisky with a green twist. Their lively and refreshing demeanour complements their natural surroundings. Ideal for people seeking a contemporary, eco-friendly flavour in their Scotch whisky.

The Huntress range is for the distillery to flex their company ethos of discovery and innovation. Interestingly, and keeping true to their word, this release uses a special four-yeast recipe. Using some white and red wine yeasts and a maturation combo of STR and 1st fill bourbon casks makes for some delicious liquid, quiet true to its name.

Nose: Marshmallow tea cakes, candied tropical fruits, splash of toffee and fried berries

Palate: A mouthful of oak, honey and creamy fruits 

Finish: bruleéd sugar and plums, lovely bit of oak spice and some aromatic spices
