Although it is still relatively new, Scotch Universe is a widely recognised independent bottler of Scotch Whiskys with a global presence. The brains behind Scotch Universe have a wealth of whisky industry experience between them, and they have joined forces to provide excellent spirits with a great deal of effort. They have a very strong space theme with their bottlings (if you couldn't already tell), and have gone coded details about the bottling bellow the name for some added chin stroking. 

This specific bottling is a 9yr Tomatin finished in a first fill PX cask. Tomatin is based up in the Highlands with history dating back to the 19th century.

Nose: Sweet notes of raisins and dark fruits, followed by creamy richness of milk chocolate.

Palate: Sweet chocolate covered raisins and a mild caramel.

Finish: More chocolate, more caramel, lovely sweet finish. If you like a sherry finish this is cracking
