Season 9 - Tomatin 7 Yr

Cut Your Wolf Loose are excited and delighted (in equally vast measures) to announce the release of our 9th independent whisky bottling.  This cask strength, single cask “Absolute F@*#ing Legend”* Tomatin sits at a perky, yet smooth, 59.4%ABV and was aged for seven years in a refill Hogshead.  There are only 262 bottles from this cask and we know it’s going to fly once people get the chance to taste it, so get your bottle sharpish before you’re left crying by the wayside.

Not only is Tomatin a lesser seen distillery in the Indie scene, but due to the fabulously rare flavour profile of this cask we suspect it may have been distilled as part of the hardly-seen Cù Bòcan peated run that Tomatin produces for just 1 week a year, or aged in a refill cask from this run!**

Some tasting notes from our in house professional taster (self proclaimed) Hugo:

Nose: Grassy and sweet, as if you watered your lawn with Mead for sh#ts and gigs. Theres a lovely summery freshness about it, so much so, you could whack it in a cologne bottle and spritz your self.

Palate: Lemons and funky IPA style fruity note - Think mangos and bananas. Ex bourbon sweetness is then gently tucked into bed by a surprising smokey curveball! 

Finish: Finish is long and lingering like an unsuspecting digit in a Chinese finger trap. little bit earthy and more of those tropical IPA hoppy notes.
