Yellowstone is a heritage bourbon brand, hugely popular in the 1970s before falling on hard times in the 1980s and 1990s. Now flourishing under the stewardship of Stephen and Paul Beam of the Limestone Branch distillery.

The 2016 Yellowstone Limited Edition is a combination of 12yo and 7yo high-rye bourbon aged in toasted wine barrels.

Nose: The nose is enhanced by the toasted wine barrel finishing, which combines notes of caramel, vanilla, cream, and light chocolate with powerful undertones of seasoned oak.

Palate: Notes of vanilla, pepper, and light caramel undertone the seasoned oak, light berry notes, and a hint of chocolate and cream.

Finish: Long finish with heavy seasoned oak notes, the berry notes also make an appearance
